Pete Soergel

Peter Soergel has always had a passion for plants.

Upon graduating from Virginia Tech, his aunt Diane introduced him to the world of high-end viticulture. His previous experience at his family farm and studies in college prompted his interest in grape growing. His first opportunity came in 2006 when he was able to work at Sonoma Valley's Landmark Vineyards where he had the opportunity to help craft the wines. His new found passion then took him to New Zealand, where he had the opportunity to work at Framingham Wine Company. There he helped implement the winemaking teams' aromatic white wine production.

Returning from New Zealand, Pete moved back to California for the 2007 harvest working at Kosta Browne. Upon completing a successful harvest, he has stayed on full time at the winery.
