Ryan joined the winemaking crew at Kosta Browne Winery after the 2007 harvest.
Ryan's winemaking experience started with the Enology program at CSU, Fresno and continued with his various adventures both locally and overseas. This enabled him to obtain firsthand knowledge of many different Pinot Noir appellations and winemaking techniques. He has worked in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Marlborough and Central Otago in New Zealand, and in the Russian River Valley. The wineries include Clos LaChance, Hunter's (NZ), Amisfield (NZ), Chasseur, Williams-Selyem, and Paul Hobbs.
He enjoys working with the winemaking team and the opportunity to see and work with all of the unique Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, and Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir vineyards.
