There is a saying that all great wines begin in the vineyard. We wholeheartedly agree and over the years, we have developed a coterie of the best Pinot Noir growers and vineyards in California. From the northernmost region of the Russian River appellation to the middle reach of the Santa Lucia Highlands, we are blessed to work with the finest Pinot Noir growers and fruit available. Developing a respect for each vineyard and harvesting fruit at optimal ripeness and flavor all contribute to the Kosta Browne style. Our goal is to maintain respect for the terroir, or that "sense of place" that each vineyard exhibits, while crafting the finest Pinot Noir possible. While we have not listed all the vineyards from which we source fruit, we invite you to explore the different vineyards that comprise the "bulk" of our wines.
